Memorial Day was spent as it should have been with Jose on the Grill, friends, backyard time and a BABY POOL! Steven's first pool time was so fun. Granted the water was a little cool and definitely not like his warm bath. I think it was slightly shocking at first...

But he got used to it and had a great time.

Many thanks to the Stenger's for letting Jose behind the grill :) and to the lovely Lucy for sharing her pool!

Teething has begun. Steven will gnaw on anything in sight. He especially loves his fingers and he is getting pretty good at the thumbsucking skill.

He had a fever of 101 off and on for two days. We tried to make him more comfortable with cool cloths on his head. I'm sure he'll thank me for this photo one day.

Still no teeth but clearly they are on their way.

Hershey Park!

1st big amusement park trip! We got to spend the day riding, strolling, munching, feeding, waiting, and sweating with the Gibb's, Etherson's, Honeycutt's, and Bidelspachs!

He doesn't know it yet but if he's anything like his mama he will LOVE hershey's kiss' soon :)

Aunth Kathleen showed the girls her mad fishing skills.

Daddy got to ride way more rides than mommy!

But everyone took turns hanging out with Steven. AND he got to meet Erin and Justin for the first time! Yaaay!
Julia and Kaelin went on dare devil rides...

Diane and Breanne went on a giant slide. Again and again and again.....

Steven even got to go on a ride. Look at that natural driving the truck.

It was exhausting. Good thing Aunt Kathy's shoulder was there.

Everybody ate well...

Great day at Hershey park!

Steven has been spending lots of time with Daddy on the balcony.

It's REALLY high up!

but he likes it :)

He listens when the bus gets near and gets very exited when he sees them drive by. There are also lots of pretty flowers and plants for him to see, feel and smell.

Wish his diapers smelled like that ;)

Big Boy Bath

Steven was just splashing and kicking and making such a mess in the sink he had to be moved into the big tub. It was a little tricky at first since he wasn't sitting up yet, but we've all got the hang of it now.

Say Ahhhhh....

Yay! Steven is opening his mouth for food now :) Unfortunately it hasn't really lessened the mess he makes but I will say its more fun :) He opens so wide and opens and opens and opens and opens. There's no guessing when he wants more.

There really isn't anything this boy won't eat so far. He gets barley, wheat, and oatmeal cereal, carrots, sweet peas, green beans, squash, and sweet potatoes. And he is certainly no goldilocks - this boy will eat his veggies cold, warm, hot, mixed with cereal. He'll eat it off the spoon, off his fingers and even off his bib. That's just the way he roles.

We listen to the Suzuki violin cd while we eat. Now he smiles when he hears the Twinkles :)

Mother's Daylen

Mother's Day was in NY with Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Ellen and Great Godfather Jim.

As you can see - Steven was looking good.

He was very excited we were going to the club for Brunch.
Then he realized WE were getting Brunch and he was still only getting veggies and milk.
But he loves his veggies so it was ok. Thanks for making me a mom babydoll :)
