Halloween 2010

Steven's first Halloween was very spooky as you can see by the scary ghost!  Don't be afraid its just Steven in his costume :)  It was actually perfect for this little guy who was practicing his new walking skills.  He's getting about 5 steps at a time here.
They had a big party at child care and all the little babies were so cute.
Then they paraded around the school circle in their styling wheels.
Someone gave him a lolipop. I took a picture before I took it away but he sure did like it.

We also got to go trick or treating around the building.  He crawled the halls banging on every door.

We didn't give him any real candy but he did get some teddy grams out of it.  It was pretty shocking how naturally he got the whole door to door and collecting treats in his pumpkin pail routine down without any training.

Butler's Orchard

Steven got to go to Butler's Orchard twice this year. Once with Auntie Ellen and then again with us. There were so many crazy things for him to try there. He came home covered in dirt, hay and smiling from ear to ear.
He fed some goats, went down a very steep slide, walked through a corn maze,

crawled through a high traffic tunnel many times, and rode on the little mini tractors!

Then it was time to pick some pumpkins. Steven tried just about all of them. He rolled them, climbed on them, pulled on the vines, and crawled all over the patch in the dirt from pumpkin to pumpkin just to find the right one.
