Labor Day Weekend 2010

For Labor Day weekend we went up to the Poconos so Steven could have some QT with Grandma and Grandpa. We went sight seeing in Jim Thorpe. Such a cute little town in the middle of the mountains with some historic sights and a train that goes through the mountain.

Steven went for some rides on the local wildlife. Steven, for someone who can't even walk yet how on earth did you get up on that deer?

Steven is such a natural with animals! Grandma and Grandpa were very impressed with how he tamed the deer.

hahaha..I am a boy of many skills. I'll never share my secrets.

Good time had by all :)

On the way back to DC it was time for a stop in Myerstown! We had lots of fun visiting the Bidelspachs and the Ethersons. The kids are all so good with Steven and by the time he left he was eating at least three new things including goldfish and corn

Steven also got to really run around in the grass for the first time. I think he liked it. Then he shared some smooches with cousin Breanne.

It was when he polished off a keg cup and started playing football that we knew it was time to go.
